The Prince of Wales Plans to Join COP30 Climate Summit in South America
The Prince of Wales plans to participate in the United Nations climate conference in South America during November, according to palace sources.
The father and son duo appeared together on Thursday night at a reception preceding the environmental conference, which is scheduled to take place in the Amazonian city of Belém.
The royal pair were in attendance at the Natural History Museum reception, marking an noteworthy combined presence at a pre-COP30 gathering arranged together with the United Kingdom administration.
Environmental Advocacy Dedication
King Charles has been a consistent supporter of environmental conservation - and Prince William has inherited the mission, with his own climate innovation awards, which will be taking place in South America ahead of the COP summit.
Palace insiders have described William's involvement at the forthcoming conference as stepping up an important role in "environmental negotiations".
Previous Activities
The monarch and his heir, making a joint entrance in the official car, were introduced to attendees such as environmentalists, scientists, environmental activists, diplomats and politicians.
This participation featured addresses alongside President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic and other global statesmen at the Blue Economy and Finance Forum in the Principality of Monaco during the current year.
